Oh my gosh!

Oh my gosh guys!!

I am sorry ..That I have not posted in a while! I have been extremely busy with Senior Sem. and classes.. You would think that it is your senior year and things will start slowing down!!! BUT NOOOOOO...they are not and I don't even have that many credits and yet I am always sooo busy.

Well, lets see what has happened since I last talked to you guys. Well, Valentines Day just passed. That was a wonderful event I spent it was friends...we played some games and then went out to a party that the Sigmas Chi's were having. Ah.. Friday the 13th! I am not sure but that day always scares me...even more because we decided to go to Oshkosh to watch the movie..You see we were smart and bought the tickets an hour before the movie...but weren't smart to go early to find our seats..so the 7 of us could not sit together.. the cinema was packed! There was line outside..just waiting to buy tickets.. THANK GOD..we bought ours before they sold out. ..the drive back was a little scary because you are driving and all you see is corn fields..and that night it was snowing so we were driving slower and slower.. I think I would have had a heart attack if someone had jumped out in front of the car.

The worst part was that my room mate had gone home for the weekend soo I had to sleep alone in the room!! But luckily, after the movie ..we got back to Ripon so..I hung out with some friends and I was not scared that much..and I watched cartoons before bed!

One thing I have about sleeping is that I always make sure the blinds are closed and the door is locked! I have my cell phone with me and a water bottle because I get thirsty at night..lol. I hate waking up in the middle of the night to go to the rest room because I have to jump out of the bed ..I have a loft..and unlock the door.. I have to walk to the rest room and the lights are off ..and after watching scary stuff you never know ...my mind gets full of thoughts and ideas..which gets me all scared..so I quickly do my stuff wash my hands and run to the room again!

lol..yes .. i know i know I am strange... but it happens! My fingers are hurting! I think because I have been typing for a while...Or am I getting to that stage were everything hurts!?!?!

My uncle Tony..tells me that it is going to rain because his knee is hurting! LoL... I love it...even more when it does rain..I say he watches the weather channel and makes it up! He is always watching the weather channel even more when I am in college because he will call me to make sure the report was right if we did get snow or if it really was that cold..lol.. I guess being strange runs in my family.

My mother is also strange! I think the only non-strange thing in our family would probably be my dog..and even then she is goofy. I have a mutt that i have had for 15 years now..then there is Daisy the yipping Chihuahua...Locita the mutt's baby...and Gorda (the mutt).

You see when I was a freshman here in Ripon. My mom called me one night and she was freaking out! She was "Erika Erika..Daisy ..she is dying!" and I was like what?... "Yes, she is dying she went to the rest room and when she finished ..I guess she pooped to hard and intestine came out!" And I was like what!!! "Erika! I am not joking..she looks soo sad...her eyes are sad!.." at this time the dog starts walking towards her and me on the phone..i hear my mom "No Daisy ! No daisy! don't come near me!! ..Erika Erika!! I can smell the blood!! I am going take her to the ER!" and I was wondering isn't the ER for humans.. but I did not want to contradict my mother so all I said was "Okay, wrap her in a towel then"...my little sister had entered the living room at the time and i hear my mom say "I will call you back..Yuri is in here"...10 minutes later...my mom calls...in the background my little sister is dying of laughter! I ask my mom what was going and what happen to Daisy...she replies "Well, Yuri had fed Daisy some lunch meat and it still had the red string around it...and well Daisy had pooped out the red string and it was still attached to her!" LMAO!!! Wow.. I asked my mom "So, you smelled blood huh?" ...She laughed and then said.."Oh hush!"...

What can I say... I love my family.. and that is only one story ..And I have 22 years of stories with my family... I don't live a dull life when I am around my family!

Well, I have to run.. okay maybe walk away now!

Ana is here!

Hey guys!!

My friend, Ana Acosta is here for the week. Actually, she leaves tomorrow back to Harvard College!! Yes, I do have smart friends in other colleges!! LoL.. WELL, it is a warm today ..haha.. it is 14 degrees outside! But, it is warmer than being in the negatives.

I over slept today so ....I did not go to my class today.. which is not good! It is not good to miss classes because in one day you miss a lot and it is always hard to catch up in your studies! However, in this class it was drawing 2.. so I am safe for the day..lol.. however, I still have a lot of homework for friday.

I am currently listening to Lonestar and drinking some warm milk...mmmmmmmmmmm milk.. I like Wisconsin for their cows.. I love cows.. without cows.. we would not have milk.. eww or we would be drinking maybe cat milk? ewwwwww I love cows!!

Well guys.. I have to go now because I have been procastinating to much today... I will write again tomorrow.

WOW!

It has been a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG while since I have blog! Well, I made it through with decent grades and now I am ready for this semester. The weather is still cold here in Wisconsin compared to the nice weather I left back in Texas. I was complaining that it was cold but when I get here to Wisconsin.. I am like wow.. 60 degrees weather is nothing compared to -12 degrees!

The first went by pretty quick which scares me because I do not want this semester go to by quick! When this semester is over I will be a graduate!!! AHHHHHHH AN ALUM! can you believe it????

I can't!

Well, I do not know what to say today .. I have been very very what would you say.. out of it.. today in class.. I sat there but I was not really there.

YAY! FOR ME!

Hey!!!

Guess what! You know how I am from Texas and I am in Wisconsin right?!? Well, my mom and little sister are going to come up from Texas with my aunt and uncle to visit us for Thanksgiving!

I am really excited because my mom has never been to Wisconsin! But most of all my little sister is also looking in to coming to RIPON COLLEGE ..the best college in the Midwest! HOOOORAH!

I having them stay in my dorm room so they can get the college life style going! Haha...well, I wonder how my mom is going to like the cold weather considering that Texas is pretty warm compared to here!

Well, I am exciting for Wednesday because that is when they are suppose to get here!!!

CAN'T WAIT!

AHHHhhhh I have to clean my room!

A cold day!

Today, I woke up really early because I have been coughing and sneezing all day. Well, I think I might be catching a cold. I hope I do not but the odds are that I am because a couple of students are getting sick already. My room mate seems to be getting sick and when you live with sick people you tend to get the sickness as well.

Hey! at least we will all be sick together! have some company and what not! But it is not fun getting sick because your mom is not here to take care of you and baby you.

However, My mom and little sister might be coming up to Wisconsin to visit me during Thanksgiving! I am so excited if they come because I have not seen them since August! And I know I do not really get home sick but it has been a LONG time since I have spent Thanksgiving with them. I think since I was 12 years old I have not spend a good thanksgiving at home. I have always been traveling with Church or school during those days because you have no school and the best time to travel during school and Church because you do not have to miss school days.

But, I went to Madison on Sunday! That was really really exciting I was driving a school van with 6 other classmates. We went to the libraries that were in Madison to do some research for our scientific writing class. We left around 11:30 am and did not come back till 7:45 pm. Yeah long time to study? LoL.. NO...we were on the road for 3 hours back and forth. which left us with a few hours to do research and then we went out for dinner.

This weekend has been extremely busy for me!

OBAMA!

So, I voted for the first time! Last election I was not 18 during the elections because the elections were in November and my birthday is in December!

BUT! I voted this time for the president! It was very exciting! I also saw the elections on T.v. ..I have to say the even though McCain was defeated he went down on a nice note. I did not see Obama's speech but I will you tube it later.

Last night, there was so much screaming and chanting going on through out the whole campus when the president was announced. There were people mad and some where running around wild. LoL..

Well, I heard that there was a higher turn out of young people voting this year then there have been in recent years. Well, that is held true for our town of Ripon, Wisconsin.

Obama won Wisconsin!
McCain won Texas!

My two states! Texas is my birth place and Wisconsin is my college state!


Well, as a respectful young college student, I must now follow under the rules of Obama, whom has set a historical mark in history. Being the first black president for the United States. It took a long while but we finally made it there. Maybe in 12 to 16 years we will have a Hispanic president!

I hope to be alive when that day comes.

The northern leopard frog! Yuck! But they are cute creatures with they are in a the wild or in a container. I am not one that likes to touch frogs or worms! But for my senior project I am using the northern leopard frog.


Yay me!.. LoL I could have chosen anything else but noooooooooooooo I wanted to do frogs! I am currently feeding the frogs meal worms and will be testing them on the Ideal Free distribution model.

Hopefully, it works! I am still learning how to hold a frog.. not with bare hands I must add! I am using latex gloves because I am scared to touch them.

Today one jumped at me and OH MY GOSH... I thought my life had ended! LoL.. SCARIER then a horror a movie!
